Exyte Hargreaves welcome new Head of SHEQ, Dale Skelton

Exyte Hargreaves welcome Dale Skelton in joining the senior leadership team as Head of SHEQ. 

Dale joined Exyte Hargreaves earlier in the month, bringing with him over 16 years of experience in SHEQ-related roles primarily within the power generation and waste-to-energy sectors. Dale studied alongside work and graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2006 with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Safety & Health. He is also a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health.

Over the course of his career to date he has been responsible for SHEQ in high-risk large-scale industrial power plants at Ferrybridge and Drax, before going on to oversee the commissioning and operation of two of the country’s largest waste-to-energy plants.

Dale will draw upon his experience of designing and implementing management systems, working in highly regulated environments, developing relationships with staff and key interested parties and delivering SHEQ initiatives to the workforce. He will be responsible for leading all aspects of SHEQ across each of the departmental functions.
